24-6-05 News Round-up!
After a successful first performance at the Urdd Eisteddfod (thanks to all
involved!) the band move on to the National Eisteddfod on the Faenol Estate
near Bangor on Thursday 6th August. They'll perform twice, first at 1pm on
the acoustic stage on the Eisteddfod field, then at 3-30pm on Maes B's
acoustic stage. The band also make their TV debut this summer on S4C's Popty.
Recording will take place in July for broadcast on 28th September. Also check
out the Therapy section to hear some of the songs performed live at the
Eisteddfod in May (with kind permission of BBC Radio Cymru).
28-05-05 1st performance Set-list
The band will perform 7 songs on the Radio Cymru stage in the Cardiff Bay
Eisteddfod, including 4 new songs. This is the set-list… 11-30 - (overture),
golau (light), gormod/digon (excess/enough), ymylon (the outskirts), ffasiwn
(fashion). 12-30 - breuddwyd (ar doriad gwawr) (dream - at the break of
dawn), eiliad (a second), tan (fire), gormod/digon & golau.
06-5-05 First Performance!
It has been confirmed today that Clinigol's first ever public performance
will be on the Radio Cymru/S4C music stage at the Urdd Eisteddfod in Cardiff
on Tuesday 31st May. The band will perform two different half hour sets at
11-30am and 12-30pm. The set-list is currently being finalised, the details
of which will follow shortly.
30-4-05 "V" Magazine
"V" Magazine, the Welsh language youth supplement of "Golwg" will have an
article about the band in next week's edition, on sale Thursday 5th May.
Geraint, one half of Clinigol was interviewed for the piece, and the band's
full current line up went down to Cardiff Bay for their first photo-shoot,
the results of which can also be seen in the magazine.
31-03-05 Pop'n'roll
The session recorded for BBC Radio Cymru's C2 programme will be broadcast
between 2000 and 2130 on Thursday night, the 7th of April.
26-2-05 First 3 Tracks Completed
Our first three tracks
gormod/digon (excess/enough), tan
(fire), and
golau (light), have been recorded in session with
BBC Radio Cymru's C2 programme and will
receive their first play towards the end of March 2005.
